Meet Mandy Brasher – The Heart Behind The Platform Longview

With over 15 years of small business experience, Mandy Brasher is the passionate force behind The Platform Longview. Her journey into full-time entrepreneurship began after the birth of her youngest daughter, when she founded Lures-N-Lace. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a launchpad for her love of branding and supporting fellow small business owners across the country.

As her knowledge and influence grew, so did her desire to bring small businesses together through events and markets. Mandy began organizing vendor-focused gatherings, always driven by a deep passion for helping others succeed. Her events were thoughtfully designed around flow, traffic, and visibility—ensuring every vendor had the opportunity to thrive.

In January, Mandy stepped into a dream opportunity to help revitalize a beloved historic part of her hometown. Thus, The Platform Longview was born. Guided by God’s hand and filled with purpose, Mandy formed an incredible team of small business owners who joined her on this new chapter in April 2024.

Since launching The Platform, Mandy’s expertise has been sought by organizations like The City of Longview and the Gregg County Historical Museum, where she’s been invited to coordinate events. Her unique, vendor-first mindset ensures that every market or event she hosts is both meaningful and profitable for participants.

Beyond her business ventures, Mandy is a proud wife to Chris Brasher and mom to three wonderful children. She treasures family time, loves fishing, and enjoys making memories with friends.

Mandy also serves on the board of the Downtown Longview Board of Directors, where she contributes to preserving and revitalizing the heart of the city. The board is committed to enhancing the quality of life in Downtown Longview by promoting the arts, entertainment, local dining, and unique shopping experiences for both residents and visitors.
